Not to dwell on our laurels we are sponsoring British judo player Ben Caldwell Ben is a professional judo player with recent

European, commonwealth and British championship medals to his name.

Ben being the son of our senior club coach Ian Caldwell.

SJC is a great sports club for all ages. Run by qualified British Judo Association coaches Keef and Ian, a safe environment for all ages and abilities to learn friendship, honesty, courage, self control and respect but most importantly having fun.

Judo is a modern Japanese martial art, and an Olympic sport, which Britain has excelled at over the years. Judo was created in 1882 by Jigoro Kano of Japan.

We are based at Saxmundham market hall, why not come along and watch or take part in a free trial session.
